Designer Stitches Medium Kits



All Designer Stitches’ Shadow Trapunto kits come in hand workable sizes, making them portable enough to work on at your convenience. Each Kit and Pattern Pack has been carefully manufactured so that you will enjoy working up a block which can be incorporated into many products such as quilts, clothing, cushion covers, framed pictures and many more. *Please note that all Kit prices are in Australian dollars and includes GST and postage and handling (unless otherwise advised).

	Ladybirds and Roses 20cm diameter Fabric colour is ivory Kit: $53 Pattern: $25 The Roses in this design are white with a soft pink and creamy center. The Ladybirds are embroidered over the Trapunto shapes to detail the design. Clear glass beads become the dew drops on the leaves and petals for this delicate and very striking design.
Ring of Shells 20cm diameter Fabric colour is ivory Kit: $55 Pattern: $24 This delicate design is a smaller version of the Shell Garland. Perfect for cushions, and of course, a beautiful design to frame for a seaside home. Tiny seed beads and pearls make this soft design shimmer around the pale blue sea.
	Frog Frolics 26cms x 21cms Fabric colour is ivory or white Kit: $56 Pattern: $25 An adventurous frog sits on the lily pad watching the beautiful Dragonfly glide over the rippling waters of the pond. Pale turquoise stitching highlights the ripples in the water and the body of the Dragonfly is satin stitched over the Trapunto shape to make him gleam.

Pattern: $25 As the fragile Dragonfly flutters towards the tulips waving in the breeze it leaves a flight trail lifted by Shadow Trapunto. Pattern: $28 (for 4 designs) These charming, traditional cottage garden flowers are a delight and can be used in so many ways, as cushion covers, rustic framed wall pictures, as tote bags, beautiful accents on clothing, the list goes on. The designs are available as separate kits or all four patterns in one Pattern Pack and each kit makes up a 14" square piece and includes embroidery thread and beads for detail.

Some more Hints and Tips ... * Do not overfill a shape in Shadow Trapunto. A tiny gap between the yarn stitches (approximately the width of the tapestry needle) will prevent overfilling. * When filling a Shadow Trapunto design which has many colours in it, time will be saved from referring to the colour guide constantly if a bright sewing thread is used to make a single tacking stitch through all colour like areas, so that the back of the tack can be seen from the back of the work. Simply pull out the tacking stitch and fill the area with the colour. * Don't forget to get a Practice Block with your order so you can fine tune your design before you start your favourite pattern.
